The Castle

Riverside Castle’s magnificent reception hall accommodates the entire spectrum of functions.

The Castle exudes glamour and romance. Its stone walls softly suggest or hint at countless possibilities…at history in the making. Its natural stone walls, wooden trusses and high ceilings invite festivity.

This large function venue, with its open fireplace, hidden passageways and balconies that overlook the communal area, offers the perfect setting within which to celebrate. The space offers a beautiful simplicity that can be dressed up to banquet style or kept within a minimalist or classical theme.

Access to the venue via a forest path and its proximity to open grass fields add to its charm and versatility.

Fairy Woods

A secluded, outside catering venue perfect for small family or corporate functions.

The rustic Fairy Woods was built in the winter of 2020, during the lockdown due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Through its development we were able to keep our staff employed, which adds to the venue’s special story.

“My son and I were the first campers here, during the lockdown,” says Jaco. “And I know that many more special family functions and other celebrations will be hosted here in time to come.”

The Fairy Woods offers a perfect place for a magical escape from city life and has become a popular venue for hosting smaller family functions, even more so, due to the convenience of not having to clean up yourself!
